The time for A Perfect Circle to reemerge is here

If you needed more evidence that A Perfect Circle is back in 2017, here you go. The Maynard James Keenan-fronted alt-rock outfit has added three new festivals to its 2017 schedule, and today (Dec. 12), the guys officially announced that they will embark on their first North American tour in six years next year. Regarding the tour, the band stated, “We are happy to announce that A Perfect Circle will return this Spring for our first North American tour in six years,” adding that tour dates will “be announced soon.” As for the festivals, the group will perform at next year’s Carolina Rebellion, Welcome to Rockville and Fort Rock.

All three festivals will also have performances by Soundgarden, Def Leppard, the Offspring, Papa Roach, Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Seether, Highly Suspect, Alter Bridge, Mastodon and the Pretty Reckless.

Welcome to Rockville and Fort Rock will take place April 29 through 30 in Jacksonville and Fort Myers, Florida, respectively. Carolina Rebellion will happen May 5 through 7 in Concord, North Carolina. For the lineups and more information, head to WorldsLoudestMonth.com.

Just last month, Keenan unleashed the news that A Perfect Circle would perform at the Hollywood Bowl on May 7, 2017. These new festival shows are, thus far, the only dates on the band’s 2017 itinerary. As previously reported, Perfect Circle guitarist Billy Howerdel said during a live interview with Keenan in Los Angeles that A Perfect Circle are not only plotting tour plans for 2017 but also have new songs in the works. Only time will tell when (or if) that new music will surface.
