Soundgarden Announce U.S. Tour Dates
Soundgarden will perform at a handful of North American venues this spring and summer
Soundgarden, one of the biggest bands to come out of the ‘90s Seattle scene, have announced a 2017 North American tour, and they’re taking the Pretty Reckless and Dillinger Escape Plan along with them. The band’s trek, which was rumored following Soundgarden booking several U.S. festivals this spring, will kick off May 3 in Atlanta at the Fox Theatre and run through their previously announced May 27 appearance at Welcome to Rockville.
Pre-sale tickets for the new dates will be available starting at 10 a.m. local time Tuesday (Feb. 28) for fans who are signed up at Soundgardenworld.com and Chriscornell.com. Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting at 10 a.m. local time Friday (March 3).
Soundgarden’s 2017 itinerary also includes appearances at a crop of summer festivals, including Welcome to Rockville, Fort Rock Festival, Rock on the Range and more. Find the band’s full roster of shows below.
Soundgarden and Sub Pop have been gearing up to release of the remixed and expanded reissue of the group’s debut full-length album, “Ultramega OK.” That’s set to arrive March 10. This past November marked the 25th Anniversary of their 1991 album “Badmotorfinger,” and they released four special editions of collection.
