Jason Mraz Announce 2017 Summer Tour
Jason Mraz has booked a handful of summer 2017 tour dates
Jason Mraz has been pretty quiet as of late, but he’s back with a handful of summer tour dates. The singer-songwriter will hit the road June 16 at Tucson, Arizona’s Centennial Hall and play a selection of other gigs in June.
Among Mraz’s tour dates include headlining shows and some festival gigs, including a headlining performance at Colorado’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival on June 18. For information on the run, visit jasonmraz.com/tour.
According to a release, Mraz will “road-test new songs for his upcoming album” on tour, plus celebrate “some of his most memorable hits with his family of fans.”
The live dates culminate with a birthday performance at Los Angeles, California’s Hollywood Bowl on Mraz’s birthday, June 23. This will mark his third headlining performance at the Hollywood Bowl. He has sold out the venue twice before.
In other news, Mraz recently performed at the Opening Ceremony of the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria.
“The opening ceremony of the Special Olympics World Winter Games was by far the most beautiful live concert experience I’ve ever been a part of,” Mraz said in a statement. “I am so honored to have been considered worthy of the task. I made some great new friends and left Schladming in awe; inspired by the athletes, coaches and families from around the world. They made a fan for life.”
