Jane’s Addiction is gearing up to release a new concert film

Jane’s Addiction recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of “Ritual de lo habitual” with a special tour, and now, the band – let by singer Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro – is unleashing a concert film to give fans a front row seat to the action.

The film, called”Ritual De Lo Habitual Alive at 25,” will arrive Aug. 4, according to Billboard.

The group, of course, filmed the clip during a show on Jane’s Addiction’s “Ritual De Lo Habitual” 25th anniversary tour. At the gig, the band rocked the 1990 collection in its entirety, including the popular alternative rock singles “Been Caught Stealing” and “Stop!”

“In preparing for the tour, I had to relearn quite a bit of the album,” guitarist Dave Navarro said in the interview with Billboard.

“It was inspiring to undo some of the rules we have become used to in our later years and get back in touch with a more expansive and unorthodox approach,” he added.

“Staying in this mindset made for an extra special celebration tour and we were oddly able to become our own inspiration,” he added. “The students teaching the masters.”

Jane’s Addiction was nominated for this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class. They didn’t quite make the cut, but fingers crossed they’ll have another shot.
