Shinedown Announces 2018 Canadian Tour Dates with In This Moment and 10 Years

Aside from a handful of summer gigs, the guys of Shinedown have spent much of this year focused on writing and recording their next studio album. The band is starting to announce upcoming tour dates, however, and the first round is a collection of Canadian headlining dates for 2018, starting March 27 in Penticton, British Columbia, and running through an April 6 show in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Shinedown will take some popular rockers along for the tour, too, as In This Moment and 10 Years will appear on the full run. For Canadian show information and tickets, visit the band’s official website at Shinedown.com.

In other news, Shinedown frontman Brent Smith and guitarist Zach Myers are currently touring the U.S. as the acoustic duo Smith & Myers. That tour continues Thursday (Dec. 14) in Mobile, Alabama, and runs through a Jan. 6 show in Joilet, Illinois.

In addition to the Canada tour dates, Shinedown will be also appear at a crop of U.S. festivals next year, including Fort Rock and Carolina Rebellion. No word yet on when the band’s follow-up to 2015’s “Threat to Survival” will arrive, but with the headlining tour date and festival gigs on the horizon, there’s a good chance the new tunes will arrive sometime in 2018.
