Myles Kennedy is inching closer and closer to the release of his debut solo album, “Year of the Tiger,” and the Alter Bridge and Slash vocalist just released the lyric video for a new song off the set, “Haunted By Design.” This is the second song to be released off “Year of the Tiger,” the first being the album’s title track and debut single. The full album will hit stores on March 9 via Napalm Records.

“Year of the Tiger,” which marks Kennedy’s first endeavor as a solo artist, finds Kennedy playing a range of instruments, including banjo, lap steel, bass, mandolin and guitar. In turn, he embraces “musical elements and influences he hasn’t explored until this point in his career,” states an official release. “The emotional journey and personal story of Myles is captured in a bluesy-Americana album with a twist of country and rock, swirling and flowing around this incredible soulful voice the world has come to know.”

Those who pre-order “Year of the Tiger” via a digital retailer will score an instant download of “Haunted By Design,” as well as the album’s debut single. For additional information and package options, head to Kennedy’s official website at MylesKennedy.com.

In other news, Myles recently announced a solo acoustic tour that’s on tap for South Africa and Europe. The tour will run through Birmingham, Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and London. According to Kennedy’s camp, a U.S. tour will be announced soon, and “the initial live shows will feature Myles performing solo in an intimate setting.”
