Myles Kennedy has posted a new song off his upcoming debut solo album, “Year of the Tiger.” The new track from the Alter Bridge and Slash vocalist is called “Devil on the Wall” and currently available at all the usual digital outlets. In addition to the new song, Kennedy has posted an imaginative lyric video for “Devil on the Wall” with colorful, creep imagery, which is streaming on YouTube and can be viewed below.

Kennedy spoke about his favorite song to play live off “Year of the Tiger” in a new, exclusive interview with Audio Ink Radio. While all of the songs are special to Kennedy, he says, “Right now, I’m really practicing the set, and I really enjoy playing ‘Haunted by Design.’ It’s a challenging guitar part, and there’s something about the song that I really like, so I think at this moment, probably ‘Haunted by Design.'” He added that he’s stoked to take the new songs on the road, “just having the opportunity to see how people react in a room.”

“Devil on the Wall” is the third track Kennedy has shared off “Year of the Tiger.” The other tracks include the album’s title track and “Haunted by Design.” The album will hit stores on March 9.

In other news, Kennedy is gearing up to hit the road on a North American tour to promote “Year of the Tiger” starting with a May 2 show in his hometown of Spokane, Washington, and run through a May 25 concert in Dundee, Illinois. Meanwhile, Kennedy’s band mate in Alter Bridge, guitarist Mark Tremonti, recently announced that his new album with his band Tremonti will be called “A Dying Machine” and, as with Kennedy, arrive via Napalm. No solid release date has been set yet for Tremonti’s album, but the release is expected to arrive sometime later this year.
