The 2018 Lollapalooza lineup is here, and it features a mix of alternative and pop acts

The much-anticipated Lollapalooza lineup is here. Jack White, Arctic Monkeys and Vampire Weekend head up the lineup for the 2018 Lollapalooza, the four-day behemoth of an alternative music festival set for Aug. 2 through 5 in Chicago’s Grant Park. White will arrive with tunes off his latest solo album, “Boarding House Ranch,” which is out today (March 23). As for non-alternative headliners, Bruno Mars and the Weeknd lead the pack, bringing a definite pop vibe to the annual festival.

This year’s Lollapalooza lineup also includes Michigan rockers Greta Van Fleet, which is no surprise, as the band is incredibly in-demand right now- so much that they they even booked an appearance at Elton John’s recent Oscars party. Additional 2018 Lollapalooza performers include the National, Portugal. The Man, Odesza, Chvrches, Walk the Moon, St. Vincent, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Franz Ferdianand, James Bay, Sir Sly, Lykke Li, The Wombats, Manchester Orchestra, Stars, Basement, All Time Low, Two Feet, Post Animal and the Neighbourhood, among dozens more.

While festival mainstay Jane’s Addiction isn’t on the lineup, singer and Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell will perform at this year’s festival with his Kind Heaven project. Farrell’s set promises an “all-star lineup of guest musicians” who will perform new tunes from Farrell’s upcoming solo album, which is expected to arrive sometime this fall.

Lollapalooza four-day passes are on sale now, and single-day tickets will be available soon. For ticket and lineup information and all things Lollapalooza, head to Lollapalooza.com.
