Vinyl lovers, make note that every Black Friday, Record Store Day unleashes a new round of exclusive vinyl releases available only at your local brick-and-mortar record shop. This year’s list of special releases features limited-edition vinyl records by a bevy of rock and metal acts. Read on for five must-have Record Store Day Black Friday releases that should help appease the music fan on your list.

The metal men of of Anthrax will release a three-LP “Kings Among Scotland” vinyl set, recorded on Feb. 15, 2017, at the band’s sold-out concert at Glasgow’s historic venue Barrowland Ballroom. The three colored LPs come in blue, pink and purple and will arrive in a triple gatefold jacket with a tour book.

Chris Cornell

Chris Cornell ‘s posthumous new track “When Bad Does Good” will be released as a seven-inch single for RSD Black Friday. The song appears on a career-spanning Cornell box set that dropped in mid-November. The RSD single also features a live version of Temple of the Dog playing Mother Love Bone’s “Stargazer” from the band’s 2016 reunion gig.

Weezer topped the charts this year with, of all things, a cover of the Toto song “Africa.” The band will release a 10-inch picture disc for RSD Black Friday featuring their covers “Africa” and another Toto song, “Rosanna.” What’s extra cool is that the single will be shaped like the African continent.

Rage Against the Machine

Rage Against the Machine may be inactive these days, but they have a RSD Black Friday release that should keep fans happy. The band’s 1997 “Live & Rare” collection, packing a crop of live and demo tracks, will be offered for the first time on vinyl for RSD Black Friday. Rage guitarist Tom Morello is also getting in on the Black Friday fun by releasing a 12-inch record with the instrumentals from solo set, “The Atlas Underground.”

The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards is getting into the holiday spirit by releasing a 12-inch single with his 1978 cover of Chuck Berry’s “Run Rudolph Run” on red vinyl. The release also features Richards’ cover of two reggae tracks: Jimmy Cliff’s “The Harder They Come” and Toots & the Maytals’ “Pressure Drop.”
