Mick Jagger has been asked by doctors to stay off the road while he undergoes medical treatment

The Rolling Stones were set to hit North American on their No Filter Tour next month, but the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have announced that Mick Jagger must undergo medical treatment and has been asked by doctors to stay off the road. Hence, the group is postponing its full North American No Filter Tour.

The good news is that, according to a statement, Jagger’s doctors have said the vocalist “is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”

“I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets, I really hate letting you down like this,” Jagger added. “I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on the road as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.”

The tour was scheduled to include 17 shows beginning with an April 20 gig in Miami Gardens, Florida, and running through a June 29 concert in Oro Medonte, Canada. Tickets for the initial tour dates will be valid for the rescheduled tour dates when the Stones announce those shows, so fans are being told to keep their tickets.
