Shinedown Releases Emotional Music Video for ‘Monsters’
Shinedown has released the official music video for “Monsters,” and it’s a moving clip
Shinedown has is climbing up the chart with their latest single, “Monsters,” off the band’s 2018 album, “ATTENTION ATTENTION.” Now, Brent Smith and company have released the official music video for the song, which can be streamed via YouTube below.
The clip is filmed almost like a movie, continuing the story started in Shinedown’s “Get Up” music video, depicting a woman mourning after the loss of her husband, who was a soldier. As the story unfolds, clips of frontman Brent Smith in a confession booth are worked into the video, as he sings, “And these monsters can fight, and they’ll never say die / And there’s no goin’ back, if I get trapped I’ll never heal.”
Shinedown is getting ready for the summer leg of their 2019 ATTENTION ATTENTION World Tour, which will kick off on June 21 in The Woodlands, Texas. Badflower, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Broken Hands will appear on that run. Shinedown’s tour will continue this fall, kicking off with a Sept. 17 through Oct. 19 with Papa Roach, Asking Alexandria and Savage After Midnight supporting on select dates.
