Phil Campbell of Motorhead has a new album on the way featuring guest appearances from Alice Cooper, Dee Snider and Rob Halford

Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell is gearing up to release his debut solo album, “Old Lions Still Roar,” and he’s rallied a bunch of his rock and metal friends to contribute to the new songs.

The album, which will arrive later this year, will feature guest appearances from Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford, shock rocker Alice Cooper and Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider. Additional guests on the album will be revealed closer to the album’s release.

“I’m really happy to release my first solo album, ‘Old Lions Still Roar,’ worldwide,” Campbell said in a statement. “I’m also honored to have mega talented guests and friends do their thing. Looking forward to everyone taking a listen!”

In a release, Campbell promises more details about the new album will be revealed soon.

While “Old Lions Still Roar” marks Campbell’s first solo album, he has released plenty of material without Motorhead before. He previously released two records with his band Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, which features Campbell alongside his three sons.

Motorhead’s latest album was 2015’s “Bad Magic,” which was released a few months before the band’s longtime frontman, Lemmy Kilmister, passed away.
