Alice Cooper, Lita Ford Prepping 2020 Tour
Alice Cooper will hit the road on a spring North American tour in April, and longtime metal guitarist Lita Ford is also on the bill
Alice Cooper has a full slate of tour dates left for 2019, as the fall U.S. leg of his “Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back” will kick off Nov. 3 in Fort Myers, Florida, but the shock rocker is already gearing up for another year of metal mayhem. The Cooper has announced a new roster of tour dates taking him into 2020.
The new roster of shows, which feature support from Lita Ford on all date, will kick off April 1 in Peterborough, Ontario, and run through an April 22 show in Portland, Oregon. Tickets for the shows are on sale now.
In other news, in September, Cooper unleashed a new six-song EP called “The Breadcrumbs EP” that honors the rich history and legacy of his hometown, Detroit. The collection has a handful of famed Detroit musicians on it, including former Grand Funk Railroad singer and guitarist Mark Farner, MC5 guitarist Wayne Kramer, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels drummer Johnny “Bee” Badanjek and Dirtbombs singer Mick Collins. Cooper is also plotting a new studio album, which is expected to arrive sometime in 2020.
