The grand prize winner for Ozzy Osbourne’s Halloween costume contest will score an autographed bone– yes, bone

Ozzy Osbourne makes for a great Halloween costume, and the metal icon is is getting into Halloween this year with his own costume contest.

Now through Nov. 1, Osbourne is asking fans to upload a photo of themselves dressed as Ozzy from the era of their choice. From there, a few entries will be selected to be posted on Ozzy’s social media to get some online fanfare, and the top pick will score a pretty cool grand prize: an autographed bone. That bone was created in the likeness off the bone that appears on the cover for Osbourne’s upcoming “See You on the Other Side” box set. It’s signed by Ozzy.

“See You on the Other Side” will arrive on Nov. 29. It features a 24-disc set of Ozzy’s original solo material on vinyl.

Osbourne is currently recovering from extensive neck surgery that he had earlier this year, but he will still be judging the costumes. Osbourne was forced to postpone his 2019 solo tour dates to 2020, and recently again postponed all of his European dates, which were scheduled to start in January 2020, to later next year. The reason for the delay is because the recovery is “taking a bit longer than everyone thought it would.”

Osbourne’s next tour dates are currently set for May, when he kicked off his 2020 North American tour.
