Foo Fighters, Corey Taylor and More Participating In Charity Auction Put Together By Clutch frontman
Neil Fallon of Clutch has recruited a handful of his rock star friends to help with a charity auction to benefit the Innocent Lives Foundation
Clutch frontman Neil Fallon is spearheading a new charity auction that’s for a good cause, and he’s recruited some of his famous friends to help.
The proceeds from the online auction go to the Innocent Lives Foundation, which works to protect kids from online predators. Fallon is on the board of the charity.
Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor is offering up an autographed guitar, which he used to write his upcoming solo album.
Another big item up for auction is a guitar that My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero smashed onstage and kept all these years. The timing is appropriate, since the band just announced a major reunion after years apart.
Other star-studded items on the tally include an autographed Zakk Wylde guitar and two signed Black Label Society posters, an autographed No Doubt guitar, two Foo Fighters autographed posters and a limited-edition black-and-white photograph of Chris Cornell by photographer Andrew Stuart, which was official approved by Cornell’s estate. The photo is #21 of only 25 available worldwide.
Fall donated the guitar he used to write the Clutch song “Gone Cold.” The guitar was signed by all the band members in Clutch, and Fallon wrote the lyrics on the back of it.
The auction runs through Dec. 7 at 11:59 pm EST. View all of the items up for auction here.
