Theory of a Deadman will kick of 2020 with a new album and fresh round of tour dates

Theory of a Deadman is gearing up to release a new album, “Say Nothing,” in early 2020, and they’ll hit the road next spring to support it.

The tour kicks off April 10 in Columbus, Ohio, and will run through a May 16 date in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale Friday (Dec. 6) via TheoryOfficial.com. The tour comes right after the band’s Canadian run.

The shows will benefit a good cause, to boot. For each ticket sold, $1 will be given to anti-domestic violence organizations. That makes sense, as the debut single off “Say Nothing,” “History of Violence,” is about domestic abuse.

Theory of a Deadman recently released a second track off “Say Nothing” called “Strangers,” which frontman Tyler Connolly says is about the political climate in the U.S. right now.

“The timing couldn’t be better or worse (for “Strangers”) depending how you look at it,” he told Audio Ink. “What’s going on with the impeachment stuff, we’ve become so desensitized to what’s happening in American politics that whatever happens next won’t even impact us anymore. It’s gotten pretty bad, but I think the news is so tragic, and it’s gotten so low-brow on both sides– we’re not even picking a side.”

“Say Nothing” will arrive on Jan. 31.
