Alice Cooper will take the stage with the surviving band members of his original band at his upcoming charity fundraising concert
Alice Cooper is holding his 18th annual Christmas Pudding fundraising concert Saturday (Dec. 14) in Phoenix, and those who attend are in for a special performance. The evening will feature a reunion performance by the surviving members of Alice Cooper’s original band: The Cooper along with bassist Dennis Dunaway, drummer Neal Smith and guitarist Michael Bruce.
Actor and musician Johnny Depp, who rocks with Cooper in Hollywood Vampires, will also be there. Other big names slated to perform at the show include Judas Priest’s Rob Halford, current Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss, Extreme’s Gary Cherone and Nuno Betancourt, blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa, Slaughter vocalist Mark Slaughter, comic musician Gary Mule Deer and comedian Jim Breuer.
Funds raised from the event will go toward funding the free music, dance, arts and vocational programs at Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers.
Cooper’s original band members Dunaway, Smith and Bruce appear on Cooper’s last two studio efforts, 2011’s “Welcome 2 My Nightmare” and 2017’s “Paranormal.” They also performed with Cooper at five U.K. concerts in back 2017. The upcoming appearance will mark their first performance together since 2017.
