In This Moment bring thick rhythms and big, steady riffing on new song, “As Above So Below”
Maria Brink and the guys of In This Moment have released a new song, “As Above So Below,” which will arrive on the group’s upcoming studio album, “Mother.” Listen to the track via YouTube below.
The song is a heavy, driving hard rock number, with thick rhythms and big, steady riffing. It features a steady, dance-able beat and electronic beats under Brink’s distorted vocals.
“As Above So Below” is the third song to be released off “Mother,” the first two being lead single “The In-Between” and the cut “Hunting Grounds,” which features DED’s Joe Cotela doing a guest vocal appearance. “As Above” is currently available via digital stores.
“Mother,” which marks the follow-up to 2017’s “Ritual,” will hit stores on March 27.
In other news, In This Moment was slated to kick off a tour this month to promote “Mother” on a tour with Black Veil Brides, but, as is the case with most current tours, that run has been postponed due to coronavirus (COVID-19).
“It is with such a heavy heart the due to the COVID-19 virus and unprecedented times, we are moving the upcoming tour currently scheduled to happen March 24 – May 17,” the band said in a statement. “We’ll be making an announcement soon regarding the new dates. Please stand by for more details.”
The statement adds, “Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone. We love you. Stay calm and know we are all in this together.”
