Shinedown Releases Inspiring New Lyric Video for ‘Atlas Falls’
Watch Shinedown’s new lyric video for “Atlas Falls,” a song that was previously only available in a T-shirt/song bundle to benefit charity
Shinedown have debuted a new music video for the song “Atlas Falls,” which was previously only available as part of a T-shirt/song bundle package raising funds for Direct Relief, who provide humanitarian medical resources around the world.
“The response to ‘Atlas Falls’ has been overwhelming,” frontman Brent Smith said in a statement. “Barry, Zach, Eric and I cannot say thank you enough to Shinedown Nation and everyone around the world that has supported Direct Relief during the COVID-19 response.”
He added, “The faith, the love, and the showing of humanity has just been incredible. Atlas Falls is a reminder that we are at our best when we need each other, and the only way through this is together.”
Sales from the bundle have garnered more than $300,000 for Direct Relief, who are also helping give personal protective equipment to frontline health workers dealing with the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
“Direct Relief is so deeply grateful for the extraordinary commitment of Shinedown Nation to help keep health workers safe as they put themselves at risk to keep all of us safe,” Direct Relief President & CEO Thomas Tighe said in a statement. “This support translates into immediate, practical help, and is such a wonderful example of everyone pulling together and doing whatever we can to protect those who are most vulnerable.”
Along with the video release of “Atlas Falls,” the song in now also available via streaming platforms for the first time. The bundles are still available.
