Nickelback Readying 15th Anniversary ‘All the Right Reasons’ Reissue
Listen to a new, acoustic version of “Photograph,” which will appear on Nickelback’s 15th anniversary reissue of their “All the Right Reasons” album
It goes without saying that “All the Right Reasons” was a huge album for Nickelback. The Canadian rock band released the album back in 2005, and since then, it’s been diamond-certified and launched chart-topping singles in “Photograph,” “Rockstar,” “Far Away,” “Savin’ Me,” “Animals” and “Side of a Bullet.”
“All the Right Reasons” turns 15 in October, and in honor of that anniversary, Nickelback has announced a special, deluxe reissue of the collection.
The expanded set, out Oct. 2, will package the original “All the Right Reasons” album remastered, as well as four bonus tracks– acoustic renditions of “Photograph,” “Too Bad” and “Someday,” plus a cover of Queen’s seminal hit, “We Will Rock You.” It also boasts a second CD with live recordings from Nickelback’s August 2006 show in South Dakota.
The unplugged performance of “Photograph” is available now via the usual digital outlets and can be streamed below.
“We are so proud of the fact that [All the Right Reasons] connected with people the way it has,” guitarist Ryan Peake said in a statement. “As an artist, you can only ever hope for something like that to happen.”
Nickelback were scheduled to embark on a 15th anniversary “All the Right Reasons” tour this summer, but the tour was canceled due to coronavirus (COVID-19).
