U2 will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their “All That You Can’t Leave Behind” album with an expanded reissue package
U2‘s 2000 album “All That You Can’t Leave Behind” turns 20 this year, and to celebrate, the band will release an expanded reissue of the set. The package will be available in a plethora of formats on Oct. 30, which is 20 years to the exact day “All That You Can’t Leave Behind” was first dropped.
Fans who want the bare-bones version may opt for the basic edition, which includes the original album remastered, plus the bonus track “The Ground Beneath Her Feet.” Those who want more will find plenty of goodies with the deluxe, five-CD and 11-LP editions, which also include live tracks, outtakes, B-sides, alternate versions and remixes, as well as a 20-page booklet, poster and 32-page hardcover book of never-before-released photos.
U2 have also unveiled a remastered, acoustic version of “Stuck in a Moment You Can’t Get Out Of,” which can be streamed via YouTube below.
“All That You Can’t Leave Behind” first arrived on Oct. 30, 2000, and brought U2 back to its roots of basic rock ‘n’ roll, after the band spent several years delving into dance and electronic music. The album featured the popular U2 singles “Beautiful Day,” “Walk On,” “Elevation” and “Stuck in a Moment,” plus scored several Grammy Awards.
