Billie Eilish Announces New Album, ‘Happier Than Ever’; Releases ‘Your Power’ Single
Alternative pop darling Billie Eilish is back with her sophomore album, “Happier Than Ever,” and a vibrant first single
Earlier this week, Billie Eilish fans began spotting billboards stating that the “Bury a Friend” singer’s upcoming sophomore album would be titled “Happier Than Ever” and hit stores July 30. The appearances got fans wondering if this was the real deal or something else.
Now, Eilish has confirmed that the news is true. She’ll drop her new album, “Happier Than Ever,” on July 30, and in advance of the album, she’s released a new song off the set. Listen to the track, “Your Power,” and watch the accompanying music video below. The song and music video were directed by Eilish.
“Happier Than Ever” will mark Eilish’s sophomore follow-up to her hugely successful 2019 debut, “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?” which debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and U.K. albums chart. The album was one of the best-selling albums of 2019 and scored Eilish a plethora of awards, including seven Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards and one Brit Award.
“Happier Than Ever” features 16 original songs, including the previously released tracks “Therefore I Am” and “my future.” The album, though, does not feature the Grammy-winning 2019 single, “everything i wanted.”
