Rob Zombie Added to Debut Upheaval Festival Lineup
Michigan’s Upheaval Festival is welcoming a new headliner for the inaugural 2021 event: Rob Zombie
As states start to slowly ease restrictions, music fans are beginning to anticipate the return of live music. Now, the lineup for one of this summer’s newest music festivals, the inaugural Upheaval Festival, has announced an addition to its lineup.
Upheaval Festival was originally scheduled to debut in July of 2020 before being postponed for a year due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Now, the event is set to happen July 16 and 17, 2021, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Disturbed were originally scheduled to headline the festival, but organizers have announced that Rob Zombie wwill be taking their place. Disturbed recently canceled their 2021 “Sickness” tour plans with Staind and Bad Wolves due to the ongoing pandemic.
Upheaval Festival will feature a bevy of additional modern rock and metal acts. The Friday, July 16 lineup will bring performances from Korn, Chevelle, Avatar, Joyous Wolf, Gemini Syndrome, Deadlight Holiday, Royal Bliss, Assume Nothing and more. The Saturday, July 17 bill will feature Rob Zombie, Staind, Skillet, Like A Storm, Stitched Up Heart, Heartsick, Blacktop Mojo, Vestigial and more.

In other news, another Midwest rock festival is also plotting ahead amid the pandemic. Rob Zombie, Korn, Staind and Chevelle are all booked to headline the 2021 Rock Fest, set for July 15 through 17 in Cadott, Wisconsin. That festival will also feature performances from Limp Bizkit, Theory of a Deadman, Badflower, Limp Bizkit, Danzig, Motionless in White, Bad Wolves, All That Remains, Saint Asonia and more.
