Alanis Morissette, Garbage and Liz Phair to Embark on Worldwide Tour
“Jagged Little Pill” recently passed its 25th anniversary, and in honor, Alanis Morissette is hitting the road on an international tour
Alanis Morissette will celebrate the 25th anniversary of her seminal “Jagged Little Pill” album with a cross-country tour, which was originally set to take place in 2020 but was postponed due to the worldwide pandemic. Garbage and Liz Phair will open on the tour.
The U.S. leg of the tour will begin Aug. 12 in Austin, Texas, and run through a bevy of major cities before closing out in Los Angeles with two performances at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 5 and 6. From there, the tour will head to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, running through Nov. 2022.
On the tour, Morissette will perform “Jagged Little Pill” from front to back, plus her hits from over the year. Also expect to hear cuts off her new album, “Such Pretty Forks in the Road.” Tickets for the newly announced dates are on sale to the general public via LiveNation.com.
In other news, Morissette also recently released a new duet with country legend Willie Nelson, a version of his famed song “On the Road Again.” Listen to the new version below.
