3 Doors Down will perform their 2000 debut album, “The Better Life,” in its entirety on tour this year

3 Doors Down have announced an extensive North American tour in honor of the 20th anniversary of the group’s groundbreaking debut album, 2000’s “The Better Life.” The trek starts July 17 in Huber Heights, Ohio, and runs through an Oct. 16 date in West Palm Beach, Florida.

This tour stands apart in that the band will perform “The Better Life” from front to back at the shows. The multi-platinum album features the chart-topping rock singles “Kryptonite,” “Loser,” “Duck and Run” and “Be Like That.”

“Especially after the last year everyone has had, I am really looking forward to rocking out and celebrating with our fans this summer,” 3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold said in a statement.

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years since we released ‘The Better Life,'” he continued. “That album drastically changed our lives, and we are incredibly excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary with our fans by playing ‘The Better Life’ front to back this summer. It’s going to be a blast, and we can’t wait to get on the road and see everyone out there!”

Seether will open on most of the tour dates. Support on select dates will come from Theory of a Deadman, Blackberry Smoke and American Idol winner Chayce Beckham.

Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale today (June 4) at 10 a.m. local venue time. For ticket information, head to 3DoorsDown.com.

Last year, Arnold released his debut solo single, “Wicked Man.” Listen to Audio Ink Radio’s recent interview with Brad Arnold here and below.
