3 Doors Down, Collective Soul + Soul Asylum Announce Summer 2018 Tour Dates
The guys of 3 Doors Down and Collective Soul are joining forces for a major 2018 summer run
When it comes to the big names in melodic rock, 3 Doors Down and Collective Soul are at the top of the list. Now, the two bands are joining forces for an extensive 2018 summer tour, which will span a whopping 36 cities between July and September. The run, dubbed The Rock &a Roll Express Tour, will also feature Soul Asylum on select shows.
The Rock & Roll Express Tour will kick off July 6 in Atlanta, Georgia, and run through a Sept. 16 concert in Phoenix, Arizona. Tickets for the shows will go on sale to the general public starting at 10 a.m. local venue time on Friday (March 30). For more information, head to 3 Doors Down’s official website and Collective Soul’s official website.
Mississippi rockers 3 Doors Down broke out in the late 1990s with radio hits such as “Kryptonite,” “Here Without You,” “When I’m Gone” and “It’s Not My Time.” The guys have sold more than 20 million albums to date.
Collective Soul got their start in the early 1990s and ruled the radio airwaves that decade with melodic rockers such as “Shine,” “The World I Know” and “December.” They have also pushed more than 20 millions records over the years.
Collective Soul will also appear at 3 Doors Down’s 15th annual “The Better Life Foundation Concert” this fall. The show is set for Oct. 27 at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, N.C. Over the years, The Better Life Foundation has give more than $3 million to veterans, children, women’s and humanitarian relief efforts domestically and around the world.
“Soul Asylum, Collective Soul and 3 Doors Down, that’s a big night of hits,” 3 Doors Down singer Brad Arnold said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to hopping on the Rock &a Roll Express this summer, gonna be fun!”
“It’s going to be an exciting summer! Not only are we going to be out with a great band, but also some great friends. I look forward to seeing everyone come out and rock with us, 3 Doors Down, and Soul Asylum,” added Ed Roland of Collective Soul.
“Looking forward to hitting the road with 3 Doors Down and Collective Soul and seeing everyone,” said Dave Pirner of Grammy Award-winning Soul Asylum. “We’re going to have a good time– can’t wait!”
