Limp Bizkit to Tour in 2022
Fred Durst is asking fans to give him suggestions of who Limp Bizkit should tour with this year
Fred Durst and Limp Bizkit apparently have big plans to tour this year in support of their latest album, “Still Sucks,” according to a recent post from Durst. Earlier this week, Durst took to TikTok to tease upcoming Bizkit tour dates and ask fans for their thoughts on who should be with them on the trek.
Limp Bizkit had a major summer tour lined up with Spiritbox in 2021, as well as a headlining appearance at Lollapalooza, but their tour was cut short due to the ongoing pandemic. All in all, the Bizkit performed just six concerts in 2021. Now, it appears the band is raring to get back on the road and make up for the lost time. “Just sitting here thinking about who we should go on tour with this year,” Durst said in the video. “Maybe a little U.S. run would be good like soon. Any idears?” Of course, the messages started flowing in, suggesting a range of bands in all genres.
Limp Bizkit’s “Still Sucks” marked the band’s first studio album in a decade. Read Audio Ink Radio’s full review of Limp Bizkit’s new album here. In addition to releasing new music, the band went viral last year for their Lollapalooza performance, in which Durst sported a “Dad Vibes” look with a wig and dad-appropriate attire.
After canceling shows last year, Durst told Billboard, “In short, the system is still very flawed. Even if the performers, crews, staff, and promoters do their best to ensure safety on and behind the stage, that doesn’t ensure the safety of the audience as a whole. We are all in this together, and we all — individually and as a whole — have to make our best efforts to be as responsible and proactive as possible moving forward to combat and stop spreading COVID.”
