Pearl Jam Announce Rescheduled North American Tour Dates Plus New Shows

Pearl Jam will finally hit the road on their latest North American run in May, making up dates original set for 2020

Pearl Jam have announced their full roster of rescheduled 2020 tour dates, plus a handful of new stops. The legendary grunge band was forced to postpone their spring 2020 tour due to the burgeoning pandemic, and they’ve been quiet about the rescheduled dates until today.

Pearl Jam will finally hit the road with their 2020 North American tour dates officially rescheduled for May and September 2022. The new track also includes four additional concert dates in Fresno and Sacramento, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Camden, New Jersey.

Josh Klinghoffer, formerly of Red Hot Chili Peppers, will open the shows with his solo project, Pluralone. He will also join Pearl Jam as a touring guitarist on these dates. A special ticket pre-sale for all tour dates starts Monday (March 14) for current eligible Pearl Jam Ten Club members. Pearl Jam will be paying $200 per ton for carbon dioxide mitigation from the Gigaton tour. That’s a ten-fold increase from the band’s previous treks. “We are proud of our prior efforts to mitigate our inevitable carbon footprint from touring over the past 20 years but the time to multiply that effort is clearly right now,” Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard states. “By committing to this aggressive pricing, we hope to equally amplify our efforts and gather partners who share our urgency to make the investments and innovations required to move our world to a more conscious, carbon balanced economy.” Learn more about the band’s history with carbon mitigation.”
