Nine Inch Nails to Replace Foo Fighters on 2022 Welcome to Rockville, Boston Calling Bills

Foo Fighters have canceled all their 2022 tour dates due to the passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins, and Nine Inch Nails are stepping in

Foo Fighters have pulled out of all of their scheduled 2022 tour dates, due to the sad and tragic passing of their longtime drummer, Taylor Hawkins. One of those big gigs was a headlining appearance at the 2022 Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Now, organizers behind Welcome to Rockville have announced that Nine Inch Nails will step in for Foo Fighters on the Sunday, May 22nd, lineup of the event. Nine Inch Nails will join previously announced performers The Smashing Pumpkins and Jane’s Addiction on Sunday’s bill. The festival runs for four days.

In addition, Boston Calling has recently announced that Nine Inch Nails would take the place of Foo Fighters to headline the opening night on May 27th of its event.

The 2022 Welcome to Rockville festival is also slated to feature KISS, Korn, and Guns N’ Roses headlining. Additional performances will come from Megadeth, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Halestorm, Papa Roach, Baroness, Black Label Society, The Pretty Reckless and more.

It’s shaping up to be a big year for Nine Inch Nails, as the band will be touring extensively for the first time since 2018. View the full 2022 tour roster for Nine Inch Nails below.
