Staind Announce Fall 2022 Tour Dates
Aaron Lewis and Staind will hit the road this fall on a North American headlining run
Staind ended their hiatus back in 2019, and now, the band is raring to get back on the road together. Aaron Lewis and company have just announced a September 2022 tour, taking the band through a handful of casino venues.
The new tour dates set off Sept. 8 in Niagara Falls, New York, and take the band through a couple weeks of shows before wrapping up Sept. 24 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Tickets for the trek will go on sale Friday (April 29), and an artist pre-sale begins tomorrow (April 26) at 10 a.m. local time. For ticket information, visit Staind’s official website.
Staind played their first reunion show back in five years at the 2019 Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky. Since then, the band has played shows and worked on a new album. Guitarist Mike Mushok recently spoke with Audio Ink Radio about new music, stating, “We’re working on that now. Aaron was finishing up a country record, but he’s just about done with it. I think the idea is once that’s completed, we’re going to- there’s a bunch of songs kicking around. It’s just kind of sorting through that stuff and seeing what, if anything, we like and figuring out. I imagine having not put out a real record of new music in 10 years, we’re going to be pretty critical of what it is and want to make sure that it’s great. But, yes, there is talk of that. We actually signed a record deal and have a deal to do a new record.”
