2023 Monsters of Rock Cruise to Feature Queensryche, Tesla and More

A slew of ’80s hard rock and metal acts have been booked for the 2023 Monsters of Rock Cruise

The crew behind the annual Monsters of Rock Cruise has announced the event’s 2023 lineup, and it features ’80s hard rock and metal mainstays such as Queensryche, Tesla, Winger, Extreme, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown and more. Another fun addition is Mac Sabbath, the famed McDonald’s-themed Black Sabbath cover band).

The ship, Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas, will take off starting April 29 from Port Canaveral, Florida, and travel to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and the Private Isle of Labadee. The trip will wrap up at the Florida port on May 4.

The 2023 theme for the cruise is “They Came From Outer Space.” In addition to the aforementioned acts, the event will also feature performances from Stryper, John Corabi, Michael Schenker, Saxon, Vandenberg, Autograph, Burning Witches, DORO, Faster Pussycat, Great White, Hardcore Superstar, Joel Hoekstra, JKIX, Loudness, Rose Tattoo and more.

In addition to the music, other activities include Gong Show Karaoke, “So You Think You Can Shred,” Q&A sessions, Cooking with Rock Stars, Painting With Rock Stars, Rock Stars vs Average Joe’s Basketball and more. The Monsters of Rock franchise is also heading up an event this summer, dubbed the 2022 Monsters on the Mountain festival. That event is set for Aug. 19 to 21 at The Gatlinburg Convention Center in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
