The 2023 Furnace Fest lineup features the event’s biggest names thus far

Furnace Fest has announced its 2023 lineup, and the roster features some big-named headliners with Turnstile, MxPx, Pennywise and Bane. The festival is one of the most influential for punk, hardcore, emo and post-hardcore genres, and this year’s headlines all have a rich history in their perspective scenes. This year’s event will take place the weekend of Sept. 22 through 24 at the Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in Birmingham, Alabama.

Furnace Fest has a long history. The event kicked off back in 2000 and ran to just 2003. Then, after years away, the festival relaunched in 2020 for a fifth edition, which was postponed to 2021. Now, the 2023 edition of the event has some of the biggest names the festival has ever attracted.

Tickets and passes for this year’s festival are available via Furnace Fest. A bevy of different ticket options are available.

As for the daily lineup, on Friday, event will feature performances from headliners MxPx, as well as Hatebreed, Anberlin, Relient K, Project 86, With Honor, Whitsett, Slow Pulse, Showbread and Vein.fm, to name a few. On Saturday, Turnstile will offer the evening’s headlining set along with additional performances from Saosin, Thursday, The Bronx, Youth of Today, Loathe, Terror, Zulu, Will Haven, Trash Talk, Mindforce, The Pink Spiders and Scowl. Finally, Sunday’s lineup features headlining sets from Bane and Pennywise, along with performances from Bouncing Sounds, Between the Buried and Me, Haste the Day, Judge, Casey, One King Down, It Dies Today, Gutter, Trenches, Taking Meds and more acts.
