Iron Maiden Vocalist Bruce Dickinson Announces Solo Album, Tour Dates
Bruce Dickinson solo album news: The Iron Maiden vocalist has finished up work on his seventh studio album, “The Mandrake Project”
Vocalist Bruce Dickinson tends to keep busy with his famed metal band Iron Maiden. But, he rarely neglects his solo work. Now, Dickinson has announced that his seventh solo album, “The Mandrake Project,” will hit stores 2024. While he hasn’t announced a solid release date yet, Dickinson has released a list of spring 2024 solo tour dates in Mexico and Brazil.
“The Mandrake Project” marks Dickinson’s follow-up to 2005’s “Tyranny of Souls.” Not surprisingly, he’s back with frequent collaborator and producer Roy Z for the record.
“This album has been a very personal journey for me and I am extremely proud of it,” Dickinson said in a press release. “Roy Z and I have been planning, writing and recording it for years, and I am very excited for people to finally hear it. I’m even more excited at the prospect of getting out on the road with this amazing band that we have put together, to be able to bring it to life.”
Dickinson continued, “We’re planning to play as many shows as we can in as many places as possible, for as many people as we can! As for what The Mandrake Project actually is… all will be revealed soon!”
As aforementioned, Dickinson has yet to announce an official release date for the new album. But, he’s created a new website dedicated to the album, where fans can get up-to-date information on the record when it’s available.
As for the tour, the initial concerts will happen in Mexico and Brazil. The first leg of the trek beings April 18 in Guadalajara, Mexico, and runs through a May 4 date in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Furthermore, for information on tickets, head to Bruce Dickinson’s “The Mandrake Project” website. Before the new tour dates happen, Iron Maiden will continue on their ongoing tour. They have a handful of fall shows in Canada on the way. The band will also appear at the Power Trip festival in Indio, California.
