In the new memoir, the pop vocalist reveals that she had an abortion after getting pregnant with Justin Timberlake, back when the two were a couple in the late-1990s and early-200s. The Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake abortion news was published Tuesday (Oct. 17) by People magazine.

Spears started dating Timberlake at the age of 17 in 1999. The two were a couple until 2002. In her memoir, Spears discusses her first time meeting Timberlake. She was 11 and met him on the set of ‘The Mickey Mouse Club.” She says her first kiss with him happened during a game of Truth or Dare.

“The woman in me was pushed down for a long time,” Spears wrote in the excerpts People published. “They wanted me to be wild onstage, the way they told me to be, and to be a robot the rest of the time.”

“Already within me was a push-pull: part of me wanted to keep building toward the dream; the other part wanted me to live a normal life in Louisiana. For a minute, I had to let normalcy win,” Spears wrote.

Spears was just 15 when she signed a record deal with Jive Records. Shortly thereafter, she released the chart-topping albums “Baby One More Time” and “Oops!… I Did It Again.”
