Blink-182 Making Big Plans for 10th Anniversary of 2003 Self-Titled Album

Blink-182 will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2003 self-titled release by playing the album in its entirety in Los Angeles

Blink-182 are coming up on the 10th anniversary of their 2003 self-titled, fifth studio album, and they have some big plans to commemorate the occasion. The pop-punk band will mark the milestone by playing the album from front to back during their two-night residency on Nov. 6 and 7 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California, followed by a two-night residency on Nov. 11 and 12 at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles.

“The ‘Blink-182’ album was a sea change in our band,” bass player Mark Hoppus said in a band statement. “The way we wrote songs, performed and thought of ourselves evolved into something deeper than it had ever been before. It was intensely personal process for all of us. Ten years on, it still holds a special place.”

While tickets for the first two shows are already sold out, tickets for the other dates are available now via www.Ticketmaster.com. VIP packages will also be for sale, offering a Q&A session with the guys of Blink-182 and some select merchandise.

In other Blink-182 news, Hoppus recently stated that the band hopes to release its latest studio album sometime next year. He says to expect an edgier, harder-sounding Blink on the release.
