Slipknot Announces New Tour and Album, ‘5: The Gray Chapter’

Slipknot’s ‘5: The Gray Chapter’ will arrive on Oct. 21

This week has brought plenty of good news for Slipknot fans. Not only has the longstanding metal band announced a fall tour alongside Korn and King 810, but the Des Moines, Iowa-based guys have also dropped the news that their new album, “.5: The Gray Chapter,” will arrive on Oct. 21.

The title of the new album implies the set is a tribute to late Slipknot bass player Paul Gray, who passed away in 2010. “.5: The Gray Chapter” will arrive in various formats, including colored vinyl and a special-edition CD offering two extra songs.

Corey Taylor and company have also released the official track listing for “.5: The Gray Chapter,” which includes 14 new songs, including lead single “The Negative One,” “Skeptic,” “Lech,” “Killpop” and “The One that Kills the Least.”
