Kid Rock to Open Restaurant at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit
Kid Rock will have a new restaurant in Detroit
Kid Rock — the guy behind anthemic rap-rock-country hits such as “Cowboy,” “All Summer Long,” “Bawitdaba” and “Picture” — is slated to open a new restaurant in the new Little Caesars Arena, which is located in downtown Detroit. The restaurant, called Kid Rock’s Made in Detroit, is “a contemporary food and music restaurant inspired by the award-winning musician,” according to an official statement.
“In keeping true with his larger-than-life reputation, he promises to make just as loud of a bang in the restaurant business as he has done with his music,” the statement continues.
Kid Rock’s Made in Detroit restaurant, which was created by Delaware North in collaboration with Kid Rock, is a 5800-square-foot, 230-seat restaurant.
It will be open year round for lunch and dinner with a menu featuring classic Detroit and Southern-influenced dishes, as well as comfort foods and bar food.
The bar section of Kid Rock’s Made in Detroit will offer local beers and craft cocktails. The restaurant will also “serve as an incubator of music talent,” a statement says, with a focus on local musicians. A live-music stage will highlight up-and-coming musicians.
