Beck is releasing a new album this year, plus opening for U2 on tour

This is turning out to be a major year for Beck. Not only is the master musician opening for U2 on the fall leg of the band “The Joshua Tree” 30th anniversary tour, but Beck is also gearing up to release a new album.

Beck’s new set, “Colors,” will arrive on Oct. 13. The album will feature the previously released song “Wow” and a fresh mix of the single “Dreams.”

“Colors” will mark Beck’s much-anticipated follow-up to 2014’s Grammy Album of the Year-winning “Morning Phase.”

In addition to “Wow” and “Dreams,” Beck has unleashed another new track of “Colors” called “Dear Life.” The trippy tune is streaming now via YouTube. Listen to the track below.
