We Came As Romans’ Kyle Pavone Passes Away at 28

We Came As Romans clean vocalist Kyle Pavone has passed away

Kyle Pavone of Detroit rock band We Came as Romans has passed away at the young age of 28. No cause of death has been announced for Pavone, who was the band’s clean singer.

We Came As Romans broke the news via the group’s social media accounts by releasing an official statement.

“Today, music lost another great with the passing of Kyle Pavone of We Came As Romans,” the statement reads. “Kyle’s tragic loss came too early in his life and those of his bandmates. All are devastated by his passing. We will miss his smiles, his sincerity, his concern for others, and his impressive musical talent.”

The statement continues, “In lieu of flowers, we will be providing information regarding charity donations this coming week. The family and the band wish to thank their fans and the music community for all of their love and support as they navigate their grief.”

The statement concludes, “Will I be Remembered or Will I Be Lost in Loving Eyes?”

In a 2015 interview with Audio Ink Radio, Pavone spoke of We Came As Romans’ musical influences. “Whether it’s rap or rock or electronic or techno music,” he stated, “you can ask anyone in our band, and all of our influences are really different.” He added that the varied influences “brought out the different sound in us, in that we brought all these different elements together.”

Pavone became a member of We Came as Romans in 2008. His voice appears on all five of the group’s studio albums. He was not only a vocalist, but also handled keyboard synthesizer duties in the band.
