Perry Farrell to Release New Solo Album, ‘Kind Heaven’
Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell is gearing up to release a new solo record, “Kind Heaven”
Perry Farrell has announced details on his upcoming solo album. The set, titled “Kind Heaven,” will arrive on June 7, and the album’s debut single, “Pirate Punk Politician,” is available now through digital outlets.
“Kind Heaven” is a big step for the Jane’s Addiction frontman, as it marks his first-ever solo album since 2001’s “Song Yet to Be Sung.” Foo Fighters’ drummer Taylor Hawkins and the Cars guitarist Elliot Easton are among the guests’s featured on the record.
Farrell will hit the road this summer on a solo tour in support of “Kind Heaven, beginning with a June 7 gig in New York City. Farrell will also bring his solo show to this year’s Lollapalooza, the festival he spearheads, in August in Chicago.
