Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy Confirm 2020 Tour
It’s true: Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy are embarking on a massive 2020 tour
After a few days of rumors, Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy have confirmed that they are touring together in 2020.
The three bands have announced the Hella Mega tour, which will set off the summer of 2020. The tour will begin in Europe in June 2020 and continue with a North American leg beginning off July 17 in Seattle. The run will close out with an Aug. 29 show in Philadelphia.
Pre-sale tickets for the North American shows will be available starting at 10 a.m. local time on Sept. 16. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. local time on Sept. 20. For ticket information, head to HellaMegaTour.com.
In addition to the new tour dates, the bands have also dropped new music. Green Day has announced a new album, “Father of All…,” which arrive Feb. 7. The title track out now via digital download.
Weezer will return with “Van Weezer, guitar-heavy album, will be out May 15. “The End of the Game,” a track off the album, is available now via digital download.
Fall Out Boy will release a greatest hits set, called “Believes Never Die — Volume Two,” on Nov. 15. The set packs a new tune named “Dear Future Self,” featuring Wyclef Jean, and is out now.
