Skillet and From Ashes to New Announce 2020 Tour Dates
Skillet and From Ashes to New will hit the road in 2020 on a North American trek
Skillet released a new album in 2019, “Victorious,” and spent much of the year on the road to promote the set. Now, the Christian hard rock band will hit the touring circuit one again in 2020 for an early North American tour.
The tour, which has Skillet headlining, will kick off Feb. 6 in Wichita, Kansas, and run through a March 14 gig in Norfolk, Virginia. From Ashes to New and Skillet drummer Jen Ledger’s side project, Ledger, will open on the trek.
“The whole band is excited to play new music and meet with the fans on the Victorious tour,'” frontman John Cooper said in a statement. “There’s something about going out on tour, connecting with fans, and having enough time to play everyone’s favorite song — whether it’s from the new album or hits from the Collide or Awake days.”
Tickets for the 2020 tour dates are on sale now via Skillet.com.
“Victorious” arrived in August of this year. It marked Skillet’s follow-up to 2016’s “Unleashed.” Read Audio Ink’s interview with Skillet frontman John Cooper here.
