AC/DC is kicking off the week with the debut of their “Shot in the Dark” music video, directed by their longtime video director, David Mallet.
The band has been teasing the release of the music video, and at 10 a.m. ET this morning (Oct. 26), they unleashed it to the world. Watch the full music video, which features high-energy live footage, below. The debut of the video was preceded by a conversation between Mallet and the band, talking about their best videos of all time.
“Shot in the Dark,” which arrived earlier this month, marks the first single off AC/DC’s upcoming studio album, “Power Up.” The much-anticipated new album will hit stores in full on Nov. 13.
“Power Up” features the surviving members of AC/DC’s classic “Back in Black” lineup, including longtime guitarist Angus Young, singer Brian Johnson, bass player Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd. The 12-track album also features riffs from guitarist Stevie Young, nephew of Angus and the late Malcolm Young.
AC/DC have stated “Power Up” is in honor of Malcolm, who passed away in 2017 at age 64.
