Linkin Park, Corey Taylor, Chris Cornell, U2: Record Store Day Black Friday 2020 Releases
Linkin Park, Corey Taylor, Chris Cornell and U2 are among the artists releasing vinyl exclusives for Record Store Day Black Friday 2020
Record Store Day has unleashed their list of exclusive vinyl that will be available during its annual Black Friday event, which happens on Nov. 27 this year.
Among the items that will be available include releases from Linkin Park, Corey Taylor, Chris Cornell, U2, The Rolling Stones and more.
Linkin Park is offering a two-LP version of the band’s 2003 sophomore album, “Meteora,” on exclusive aqua blue vinyl.
Taylor is releasing a cover of “All This and More” by Dead Boys as a 12-inch vinyl single. The original song also appears on the B-side.
Cornell’s posthumously released cover of “Patience” by Guns N’ Roses will be out on vinyl for the first time. The release will arrive as a seven-inch single and include Cornell’s version of the Prince song “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
U2 will release a white-vinyl, 40th anniversary edition of the band’s often overlooked 1980 debut record, “Boy.”
The Rolling Stones’ Black Friday set is a Collector’s Edition version of the group’s classic 1969 album, “Let It Bleed,” with a special vinyl design.
Other artists with special Black Friday releases include Alice in Chains, Anthrax, Beastie Boys, Blue Öyster Cult, Dio, Ace Frehley, Jerry Garcia, George Harrison, Jefferson Starship, Jorma Kaukonen and Motorhead.
