Clutch Announce New Livestream Performance to Benefit Save Our Stages
Clutch gearing up for new livestream performance featuring the band’s greatest hits, as voted on by fans
Clutch will perform a new livestream concert, “Live from the Doom Saloon Volume III,” on Dec. 14. As with the band’s previous livestream shows, the gig will take place at the band’s performance space, nicknamed the “Doom Saloon.” The setlist will include the band’s greatest hits, as voted on by fans.
The concert follows Clutch’s second “Doom Saloon” performance, which asked fans to send in full setlists, from which Clutch picked one setlist to play at the show.
“‘The Doom Saloon Volume 2’ set was written by a fan,” frontman Neil Fallon said in a statement. “We had over 4000 set list submissions. We were able to see what songs were the most requested and for ‘Doom Saloon Volume 3’ we will play the 15 most requested songs from ‘Doom Saloon Volume 2”s set list requests. It could be thought of as a greatest hits set as per the fans.”
Tickets run $15, and a portion of the proceeds raised will go to Save Our Stages, a charity organization helping independent venues trying to stay afloat amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Other ticket packages are available, including one which includes a double-LP vinyl pressing of the “Doom Saloon Volume III” concert, which will be recorded live, mastered and pressed to vinyl. For more information and to find tickets, head to Clutch’s merch store.
