After a one-year hiatus due to the ongoing pandemic, Lollapalooza is back in 2021, and this year’s lineup is packed with heavy-hitters. Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters are slated to headline the annual event, along with Post Malone, Tyler, the Creator and Miley Cyrus.

In addition to the headliners, Lollapalooza, which was founded by Jane’s Addiction’s Perry Farrell, will also feature performances from Limp Bizkit, Journey, Modest Mouse, Jimmy Eat World, Brittany Howard, Band of Horses, Young the Giant, Angels & Airwaves, All Time Low, Michigander, Grandson, Porches, Rookie, Sebastian Paul, Yellow Claw, Jacob Banks, Dominic Fike, Oliver Tree, White Reaper, Peach Tree Rascals and many more.

Lollapalooza 2021 is set for July 29 to Aug. in Chicago’s Grant Park. While last year’s festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers held a virtual event instead featuring new and past performances.

Attendees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide a negative test result within 24 hours of the festival in order to attend the 2021 edition.

“Here in Chicago, the word ‘Lollapalooza’ has always been synonymous with summer, great music and four days of unforgettable fun — which made last year’s decision to postpone it all the more difficult,” Chicago Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot said in a statement.

“Now, less than a year later and armed with a vaccine that is safe, effective and widely available, we are able to bring back one of our city’s most iconic summer music festivals,” the statement adds. “I want to thank the Lollapalooza team for working closely with the City to create a reopening strategy that prioritizes safety and can’t wait to see festivalgoers return to Grant Park this summer.”

Tickets for Lollapalooza are on sale now. For ticket information and the full lineup, head to Lollapalooza.com.
