Ronnie Radke Names Two of ‘Modern Rock’s Most Triumphant Headliners’

Ronnie Radke of Falling in Reverse is naming the bands he thinks are modern rock’s champions today
Ronnie Radke of Falling in Reverse is a trendsetter. When he talks, please listen. Sure, he has some haters, but that’s expected for someone in a position of influence. Now, Radke is speaking out about two bands that he thinks are keeping rock and heavy music alive in 2023 and will take the heavy music genres into the future.
Radke recently took to social media to discuss his new favorite bands. “There is something magical about seeing bands that have been playing theaters for 12 -13 years all for the passion of the music and one day they write an album or songs that make them blow up to arenas and festival headliners,” he says in the tweet.
From there, Radke named Bring Me the Horizon and Bad Omens are two bands that are really rocking it live. Furthermore, he called them “two of modern rock’s most triumphant headliners.”
In some earlier tweets, Radke also discussed the difference between writing a metalcore song verses a chart-topping single that breaks the Billboard Hot 100 charts. “So tired of these clowns acting like making metal is some crazy a** impossible concept that only few know how to do,” he adds. In essence, it seems like he’s dissing his own metalcore genre. Perhaps he’s hinting at moving his sound to Top 40? Time will tell.
In other news, Radke has lots to celebrate. He scored an RIAA platinum record with his 2019 Falling in Reverse single, “Popular Monster.” What’s more, his subsequent singles with the band, “Voice in My Head,” “Zombified” and “Watch the World Burn,” are also chart-toppers. Falling in Reverse are currently touring North America, mixing festival dates with headlining shows. Find their current tour roster on their official website.
