Hear Blink-182’s New Track, ‘Up All Night’
Blink-182 fans, perk up those ears: The pop-rock band has posted their much-anticipated new song, “Up All Night,” on YouTube, and they’re urging fans, via Facebook, to stay “Up All Night” listening to the new track.
Blink planned to premiere the track Friday (July 14) at 7:30 a.m. PST/10:30 a.m. EST on Los Angeles alternative rock station KROQ, but debuted it early (July 13).
What about the release date for it, the first album of original material since 2003’s self-titled disc? Nobody knows it yet. But, Blink-182 does tour as part of the Honda Civic Tour with My Chemical Romance, which kicks off Aug. 5 Holmdel, N.J. Other openers (rotating, however) include Manchester Orchestra, Rancid, Against Me! and Matt & Kim. This is surely an alternative-minded music fan’s bill.
Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus told MTV News earlier this week that the band is “probably more excited than anyone else in the world for the new single.”
“’Up All Night’ contains elements of everything we’ve done in Blink-182, and pushes further than we’ve gone before…” he said.
