Following a run of shows with Tool, frontman Maynard James Keenan will tour with Pusicfer
Maynard James Keenan is keeping his fans plenty happy in 2012. First, it was announced that he would hit the stage with popular progressive rock band Tool this year, with North American dates that run through February. The shows sold out in a jiffy, so fingers-crossed more will surface before too long. In addition, Keenan will go out with his electro-industrial, comedy-rock project Puscifer beginning in February, and Puscifer just added two dates to the upcoming “Conditions of My Parole” trek.
Puscifer have added a stop March 16 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco and March 17 at the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside, Calif. The group are touring in support of Puscifer’s sophomore album, “Conditions of My Parole.” Keenan’s tour mates include bass player Matt McJunkins and drummer Jeff Friedl, both from A Perfect Circle, as well as Josh Eustis, Mat Mitchell and British singer / songwriter Carina Round. In other Keenan news, A Perfect Circle landed at No. 166 on Pollstar’s list of the Top Grossing North American Tours of 2011, taking in 4.4 million for their summer trek of North American theaters. Read the full story, here.
