Alice Cooper Readies ‘A Paranormal Evening’ Live Albums
‘A Paranormal Evening with Alice Cooper at the Olympia Paris’ will arrive in August
Shock rocker Alice Cooper was on tour for much of last year in support of his latest studio album, “Paranormal,” and wrapped up the 2017 run with a gig at the Olympia theater in Paris on Dec. 7, 2017. The Coop and his band served up a massive, 90-minute set, which will be released as a new live album on Aug. 31.
The released, titled “A Paranormal Evening with Alice Cooper at the Olympia Paris,” will arrive as a two-CD collection, digital download and two-LP colored-vinyl set with one red disc and one white disc. The package features 18 songs with Cooper’s most popular hits, including “School’s Out,” “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “Under My Wheels,” “Poison,” “Only Women Bleed” and “I’m Eighteen.”
It’s not just the hits. The package also features a performance of one song off “Paranormal,” “Paranoiac Personality,” and some early Cooper hits, such as “Cold Ethyl,” “Brutal Planet,” “Billion Dollar Babies,” “Feed My Frankenstein and “Ballad of Dwight Fry.”
In other news, Cooper was recently touring in Europe with supergroup Hollywood Vampires, which also features rock heavyweight Joe Perry of Aerosmith and actor Johnny Depp. Cooper will set off on a a new North American leg of his “A Paranormal Evening with…” tour beginning on Aug. 3 in West Allis, Wisconsin.
